This is a bucket hat I made using a pattern from DieselPunkRo. I made this hat out of thick veg tan leather which would normally make the hat into an almost helmet like stiffness. But with this style (and also considering that I massaged the heck out of it to make it more supple afterward) it works and I really like this hat. Rainy season has finally started up here (kinda) and it has done yeoman service keeping me dry.
